Replaced 2 8 foot flourescent garage ceiling mount lights. Not user friendly with respect to mounting on ceiling where existing wiring penetrates. This commercial grade downlight is ideal for new construction when specified with a 4" x 2 1/8" square or octagonal J box. It is also conveniently UL Listed for wet conditions only indoor wet locations such as above a shower. For exterior they would need to be installed in damp location such as a covered porch, soffit, etc.. A place where the fixtures would not receive direct saturation.

Honestly I haven’t had the chance to install this yet but I have several friends that have used these before and it didn’t seem to be difficult. The 6 slim led lights are replacing 6 round halogen lights. The installation was relatively easy because the wiring already existed.
