these flower pot are perfect, good quality construction but not too heavy at all even though they are metal. the stands that come with them can be used or not, the pots just sit on top of them but are still secure. be mindful though that there is not a hole at the bottom of the pot, so would need to add some stones to help with water drainage, but that is pretty normal..
