Gerber isnt as well-known a brand as some others, but when I was shopping for fixtures for a full bathroom, it was carried by a local, highly-respected plumbing supply store, and I wound up choosing them for their design. Now that Im redoing the kitchen, I especially looked for their options. Im glad I did, because it looks great. Its a tad shorter than other similar options, which is a good thing for my application. This engineered flooring is a neutral greige tone. The finish is smooth with no wood texture feel. The top and bottom plank are full length where the middle pieces are split which I thought was odd but maybe that’s how all boxes come The backside of the planks are a rustic finish that I kind of like (see last photo). We bought this in black to match our faucet. It's incredibly heavy, which is good because it gives it a solid feel. The mounting pipe is metal which is nice, because these are often plastic and don't hold as well over time. I do wish that the logo on the top wasn't as prominent, but because it matches the sink (Blanco) it's not so bad. Overall a great dispenser. Update a year or so in. At first we used a thicker dish soap (maybe Dawn?) and it clogged all the time so we switched to a thinner one (Meyers) and that worked much better. But now the soap tends to leak out from under the pump head onto the counter like other people have noted. We spent a lot of time looking for just the right kitchen faucet as we remodel our older, new home kitchen to boot. Although there are cheaper faucets available, this particular one struck a chord with us. A beautiful mix of black and brushed nickel to coordinate with the countertops and kitchen amenities. Faucet arrived undamaged and packaged well. This matches my kitchen decor so well. I ordered the matte black. Faucet seems of good quality! Then I got the bad news...we cant get my old Faucet off! My sister has tools to take off faucets and she said she had never seen the adapter that screws my old Faucet on before. I live in a small town and now Ill have to find someone with tools that can get my old one off. Im so disappointed!
