This balloon spinner is a beautiful addition to my outdoor décor, but there are a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The colors are vibrant during the day, but I’ve noticed that the orange spinner consistently illuminates darker than the purple and green ones (I own five total). I believe this is due to the deeper orange and purple tones. It's important to be aware of this if you order more than one color. One important detail Wayfair should mention is that this is an adjustable wind spinner. The pole comes in three screw‑together sections, allowing you to choose the full height or a shorter setup using only two sections. I wish I had known this earlier — I initially avoided these and bought the hanging balloon spinners instead because I thought the wind spinners came in only one height. I purchased two of these, and unfortunately, the batteries in both did not work. Be prepared to buy rechargeable replacements right away. I learned this the hard way after charging the original battery for eight hours and getting zero illumination that night. Lastly, this orange spinner is actually a replacement for the first one I received, which arrived with several cosmetic issues such as chipped and missing paint. It looked like an open‑box return, even though I paid full price. Wayfair really needs stronger quality control. This is more than worth the interesting movement and great craftsmanship that most folks will likely think of when they buy it. These photos are after a summer of it being outside and it still looks incredible. The “patina” -rust in this case-has added more charm to it, without damaging any structural integrity. So expect a little of that unless you live in a dry area. I bought this because a true blue heron has invaded our koi pond and attempts to curtail this majestic bird from snacking on our fish failed, including a static model that looks identical, sans wing movement and a water spray detection that only sprayed me. Annoying. Bottom line-this has worked! I’ve witnessed several standoffs between this metal bird against the real bird. Fascinating.for sure, but metal bird won every time. At least so far The real heron is here because there is a large pondsmall lake behind our yard where it typically hunts and should hunt. I have bought many different Hot Air Balloon Spinners and I could never find one with hot air balloons on it. When I saw this one I immediately placed my order. It's very big , bright and festive. We have four out so I'm keeping this one for next summer. We have put many together over the years. We see no problem putting this one together. Once you read directions and put one together you can put any of them together. It does look just like the picture on Wayfair. I'm very happy with my purchase. It also arrived in perfect condition..
