I recently purchased the LG Probake Convection, Air Fry, InstaView Selfclean, EasyClean and Snart, Stainless, Freestanding Electric Range, and it’s been a great upgrade. The InstaView is one of my favourite features being able to check on food without opening the oven is perfect for baking and helps keep the temperature steady. The ProBake Convection cooks faster and more evenly, which I noticed right away. I enjoy cooking with the cooktop. It’s heats up quickly, and distributes heat well, and the smooth glass surface is easy to clean. The different element size are really practical depending on what you are cooking. The built in Air Fry is a nice bonus, and I like that it alerts you if the oven door is left open. Small details, but really helpful. My family appreciates the Wifi connectivity. Being able to preheat the oven remotely through the app is a level of convenience I didn’t realize I needed until now. It helps, especially on busy days. The gas range is very powerful, the iron grill is sturdy and offers a flat top (no pot or pan wiggling!) for the entire range. This feature is helpful in a small kitchen with limited counter space. Other reviewers are correct when saying the temperature dial needs to be set above the needed temp to get a correct preheat. Remedy with a hanging oven thermometer. Do not, I repeat, Do not get the ‘GE Installation’ service with this appliance. Even if you buy an installation kit. The technician will come in, excuse in hand, and will tell you that any dust, or light green on the gas pipe disallows them to service the installation. (When plumbers test for gas leaks upon installation they spray a little water on the line, leading to a light green) Be ready with your own plumber on the day of delivery. I like the broiler being actually in the oven instead of being in the bottom drawer of the oven, but that will take some getting used to. But having the storage drawer is very convenient. The digital control for the oven I feel is more accurate than a knob to control the oven temperature. And I like the simplicity of that feature on this particular model. I feel that on some ranges with all the oven features on the control panel are unnecessary. I like the simplicity of this model. The burners light so fast and easy! And the oven heats faster than any oven I have ever had. The only thing that I have found is that I miss having one smaller burner for simmering, the lowest burner setting is not low enough to simmer using a small pan but works fine with a larger sized pan. I like the stove I have used the oven a few times baking. Haven’t used the air fryer yet. Top burners on stove are good love that the nobs are bigger. I’m not a fan of the back being in black you really can’t tell what the settings things are on it’s hard to read. Nearly 5 year update... I still LOVE LOVE LOVE this range! The wifi feature allows me to start the oven while on my way home from the grocery store, cook baked potatoes left inside it or preheat from the hammock in the backyard. I don't love the air fry feature, I still use a different one. I bought a newer version of this range than a friend had and recommended and am so glad I did.
