This is an Igloo brand so I trust it. It’s big enough to hold a quart of orange juice and a half gallon of milk if you put them on their sides. The only issue I have is the shelves on the door have the plastic guard that keeps items from falling off, and this juts into the space of the main section of the refrigerator, seriously cutting down on that space! You think you can set something inside and the plastic hits it and the door won’t close. Very frustrating. We are tired of using ice trays to freeze ice this ice maker gets the job done. The size and ease of use is perfect, not taking up a lot of space. We are a household of two so we don't use a significant amount of ice. We are also conscious of our electricity bill and because this ice maker produces ice so quickly we can turn it on without waiting a long time for ice and simply turn it off when it's not needed. This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes.
