We are tired of using ice trays to freeze ice this ice maker gets the job done. The size and ease of use is perfect, not taking up a lot of space. We are a household of two so we don't use a significant amount of ice. We are also conscious of our electricity bill and because this ice maker produces ice so quickly we can turn it on without waiting a long time for ice and simply turn it off when it's not needed. This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. It’s very easy to use, just pour water in, plug it in and about 9 cubes every 6 minutes as it states is true. I’m very pleased and I would whole-heartedly recommend this product fully.. Dean. You think you can set something inside and the plastic hits it and the door won’t close. Very frustrating.
