We are tired of using ice trays to freeze ice this ice maker gets the job done. The size and ease of use is perfect, not taking up a lot of space. We are a household of two so we don't use a significant amount of ice. We are also conscious of our electricity bill and because this ice maker produces ice so quickly we can turn it on without waiting a long time for ice and simply turn it off when it's not needed. This is an Igloo brand so I trust it. It’s big enough to hold a quart of orange juice and a half gallon of milk if you put them on their sides. You think you can set something inside and the plastic hits it and the door won’t close. Very frustrating. This is an absolutely massive refrigeratorfreezer combo! Delivery took quite a while, but that’s expected with how big it is. It took a full delivery truck and 2 guys to unload it, they very nicely and carefully got the box inside our garage for us. Unboxing took a while, the wheels were sitting on a wooden platform and was impossible to get out from underneath without hammering the wood to pieces. The wheels on this unit are so convenient to move it around because it is HEAVY. It has 2 refrigerated areas and one freezer, it performs wonderfully but is quite noisy when it’s running. It’s designed to be wheeled into a wall which would dampen the sound. Other than that, it runs great, our food stays fresh and cold and is exactly what we were expecting.. Abbey. Springfield, OH.
