My Maltese sleeps with me and even though he visits a groomer monthly I have found that his nails have picked the material in a couple of spots. This blanket never stated it was dog approved and tbh I expected this as with any waffle blanket . Will definitely purchase again when needed but will dry this blanket on a very low setting.!. Debra. I got the pink one. I thought the color was true to what was shown online. I was hoping for it to be a little bigger, but it is a King size. My husband grew up sleeping on Mexican fur blankets #iykyk so getting him used to a proper fitted and top sheet was not easy. Hubby approves of this blanket he says its even softer than expected.
