The quality is as it should be for the price point. The reason for a 4-star rating is I have not really started using it but it appears it is going to serve the purpose for which I intended…more counter space, room for my granddaughters to join me in craft-making, and not overly big.. Beautiful, very heavy, and solid. Matches perfectly and serves my need for extra cabinet space. I had to pay someone to assemble the island, which I didnt mind. I wish for such a heavy and expensive item, Wayfair would offer full service delivery or at least the option to pay for in home delivery and assembly. The island did have one flaw a chip out of the top corner of the table and someone from the factory or warehouse colored it in with marker. It was small but very noticeable.
