On a whole, I like this panel. It ws very easy to assemble, and I love the look of the wood and the black metal together. My biggest issue was the fact that they sent an incorrect piece instead of one of the spacers, and it would have been way to much trouble to get them to replace it, so I had to make due on my own. The privacy screens arrived yesterday and I opened one of the boxes today. There are 3 panels per screen to fasten together, and the legs to attach. Hardware was provided, as were the instructions. Arrived very quickly with no damage during shipping. Excited to get the 5 screens assembled and the oxidation process to begin. I will be using them in my courtyard around the hot tub for privacy. I bought these to help reduce the wind that we get on our deck. We have them attached to the railings. Last year we had to chase our furniture a few times during our wind storms but not this year. They worked very well as a wind break. They definitely had to be secured well to keep them in place. They look very nice and add to the look of our deck instead of taking away. Easy to assemble- the pickets don’t click in as hard as they make it out, just kind of go in. Haven’t put it in the ground yet, so I’ll come back to update. Update Welp- set aside some time for this project! I strung out and sprayed a line first. To be fair, I have rocky soil, I had to use a hammer and piece of rebar to prime holes, then used some extra brackets to firmly tie it all together. When you’re pounding them in, don’t pound too hard, or they’ll deform. It’s a nice sturdy fence, keeps my cavalier in the yard and looks good, wears well. While less work (I think) than burying wood posts and wrapping and running a big store vinyl fence- it’s still work. Two man project, imo. Check your level on your gate too- or your latch won’t work. Pros= Absolutely stunning!! LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Perfect for what I was looking for. A little bit of a barrier from our neighbors not so fishbowl vibe when sitting outside without obstructing the view of the lake or a harsh fence (unable to do so with HOA rules). It is so beautiful It has elevated my patio. I just bought more to add to my other side that doesn't even need a barrier just to add the beautiful look of these. Cons=Yes they come with a stand. However, in order for these to be left up outside and not have any fears of hurting anyone (they are heavy) they do need placement of additional support. If your placing under a covered patio should be just fine with sandbags/planters etc for added weight, however, we had ours freestanding out in the element there was absolutely no way my hubby was ok with that solution. We added the wood frame, (which honestly I think made these go from nice to breathtaking) attached it to one side of the house, and secured it to a cement bench we had, to the other side, that baby is not going anywhere.
