Rustic split bamboo slat fences have been used for centuries in many regions of the world where bamboo is available. It can be used on its own or attached to cover a chain link fence for added beauty and privacy. They are inexpensive and easy to install. Bamboo slats or split bamboo fences are woven together with black nylon coated wire, as opposed to other split bamboo slat fences in the market that usually tie their fences with bare metal wire exposing unsightly metal and rust. The fence is semi-opaque, which provides some privacy. The unique color of the bamboo slats makes it one of the most gorgeous and striking, looking bamboo fences on the market today. The bamboo slats we use are about 1/2" wide. They are packed in a roll for convenience in shipping and setting up. Due to the natural material used, the color will vary and may not look exactly like the photos shown. These fences are not solid, and you WILL be able to see through them.

This worked absolutely perfect for my purposes! I did have to hire somebody to install them for me. They are heavy when they come in the role so it does take two people to attach it to the fence. On a whole, I like this panel. It ws very easy to assemble, and I love the look of the wood and the black metal together. My biggest issue was the fact that they sent an incorrect piece instead of one of the spacers, and it would have been way to much trouble to get them to replace it, so I had to make due on my own. These are really great looking screens. Assembly was not difficult at all. I think, in total, it took me about 25 minutes to get both of them assembled. The longest part was laying out the planks to make sure I knew which one to use in what order. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the wood has already started to shift a little bit. Not much, and thats what wood does as it expands and contracts, but it has been noticeable in a couple of spots.
