MrSteam Remote temperature probe used to accurately read the temperature inside the steam room and send it to the controller.

You will not be receiving this product as pictured. The pictured item is the sensor probe for their commercial stream generators. The residential stream generator only comes with the probe, no metal housing/ grill. Mr. Stan expects you to put the probe within your grout....so not sure how this would work down the road if you ever needed to service or replace this probe...rip out your grout? Also, you'd need to consider your spacing in your grout where you'd be placing this probe. Wish I knew ahead of ordering and then requesting replacement which arrived like the first, no housing/grill. Absolutely gorgeous 3D fireplace. A few small issues were found, but it’s otherwise a beautiful fireplace! First, it advertises that it puts out 10,000 BTU. It has the capability of doing that but it’s really 5,000 BTU unless it’s modified. That should have been clarified a bit more on the product description. Especially since it’s huge and nearly impossible to return once you’ve opened it up. The other issue I found with it is that the app is only compatible if you have 2.4GHz WiFi…I have a smart home and I use Starlink which is a satellite WiFi. The app will not work whatsoever with Starlink and so I can’t use the app at all to turn my fireplace on and off. It has a remote that comes with it so that’s just kind of a minor issue, but I wish (for the price I paid) it would match the ever evolving technology out there. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It was extremely hard to find the piece to fit the system. So connecting it was not as easy as it should have been. It should come with all materials needed for the price and performs flawlessly. Battery life I’m not sure just yet but I will come back once I can get a full battery function out of it..
