Mattress seems sturdy and excellent quality. However, the pump is described as a "hand pump" whereas it is a battery-powered pump requiring 6 C-cell batteries. So it is incorrectly described. (What happens when the batteries leak or run down in the year between uses? Then company comes and the mattress cannot be inflated and is rendered useless.) The instructions are poorly written, and the instructions on the patch are so tiny that they cannot be read. I live in Quebec Canada and I have had the Intex inflatable six person Spa since August. it is February now, our Spa is set to the max 40°C, whereas the outside temperature is currently MINUS 25°C !! It has even withstood Minus 40°C with the windchill. We use our Spa everyday and it is running flawlessly !!! My previous "Hardshell" spa did not withstand the cold winters here ; as the pipes inevitably froze and burst!
