I recently had siding put on my home. My contractor sort of refused to put my old awnings back on the house - rightfully so - would have been awful! So, I started searching for suitable choices. Many were negated because they wouldn't have mounted to the siding correctly. Then I found this (and a larger one for my front door but got that one elsewhere as Wayfair didn't have that size) and realized that a mounting kit could be purchased for vinyl siding! Hooray! It's gorgeous - so minimalistic and really matches the house. It hasn't rained yet so I don't know how well it will shield but at least it looks pretty. Added this to the side of my house. I added pressurized wood to level bottom since my pad is sloped. Also added wood around the sides and top because the brickwork on the bottom prevents greenhouse from being flush against siding. These were much larger in real life than I was expecting but seemed the right size once installed. They came with decent instructions but pictures only so takes a little to figure out. They came with rubber stripes to put between pieces but they dont make a tight seal so I bought 12 backer strips to add between the frame and plexiglass for a tight seal. The Automatic Vent Opener was designed to automatically control the temperature in all Canopia Greenhouses. As the air inside the greenhouse warms, the vent gradually opens to allow the correct amount of air flow into the greenhouse and closes when the optimal temperature is reached. The vent arm was designed with the use of natural wax that expands as the air gets warmer, to push a piston that raises the window, then contracts as it cools, closing with the use of a spring. The Automatic Vent Opener operates without the use of electricity.
