Found the perfect installation product! I was looking to make an old fixture smart automated and this SkyPlug canopy kit allowed me do just that. After installing the outlet and plugging in my Eurofase fixture I realized how dirty the glass was. The Skyplug allowed me the ease of unplugging and cleaning my glass fixture on the ground and then quickly plugging it back into the ceiling. Where has this amazing invention been? You can use it with almost any hanging light! I think I might just install these in the whole house. We purchased this for a new home build that had a slide in range in an island. We did not want an exhaust hood that hung down from the ceiling and this one was perfect for a flush mount in the ceiling. It was priced considerably less than other brands that had white glass finishes. There are a couple discoveries we made however. It did not turn on once the power was brought to the new build. We called Awoco and were told to check in the black box under the stainless grill, for a white connection that sometimes is disconnected. That solved the problem and the unit lit up and worked with the remote and the voice commands. Customer service was very helpful and seemed to know exactly what to look for. There is one other thing to be aware of with the voice command, occasionally it picks up what it believes to be a request for action and starts talking, asking for directions. We thought we were hearing voices until we realized it was the exhaust fan talking. Overall, I’m really pleased with this product. The look and quality are really great. I’d give this 4.9 stars if I could! However the instructions were absolutely awful.they were unnecessarily vague and confusing. If you opt to buy, just know there is ONE crank for two functions.
