The bookshelf is wonderful. Very sturdy and it looks high quality. As you can see I am using for our tv and it’s deep enough where the hdmi cords have room to be plugged in horizontally into the back of the tv. One heads up though, the package is HEAVYYY so be ready to have someone help you carry it in. Other than that, once it was built (which the assembly was so easy) it wasn’t to hard to move around to where I wanted it. Overall, I like the unit. It arrived next day and the setup was pretty straightforward. I have 5 other cabinets that are similar but not identical to this one so a lot of the setup was the same. I had to makemake 2 additions to make the cabinet work for me. First, I added legs. I don’t like cabinets that drag on the floor especially when you need a place to put the power cords. Second, I added lights to the glass shelves. The way the unit works. Anything on the two glass shelves device light but if you have a lot of things on those shelves, the light doesn’t fully transmit to the wood shelves. I’ve been reading that the lights tend to die within 30-60 days so let’s see if that happens to me it I have a backup plan to add new lights o I’ll be fine if it does. Overall, a descent unit. Works for me, but I would have been really upset if I had paid full price. Majority of the pieces had some sort of damage that could have been solved with better packing. The backing is pretty flimsy and has really visible creases that I couldn't smooth out. I covered the back with wallpaper bc I thought it was cute. The laminate is pretty thin and seems to be easily damaged. Overall satisfied with it, but I would have preferred something a bit more elevated. Just hard to find a good balance of price and value..
