I bought the 6-step ramp because we have a very high bed, and we wanted our dog to get used to using this before he gets to a point when jumping up and down will be difficult. This seems to be a very high quality item. Though it comes with no assembly instructions, we were able to figure it out easily enough. I was worried my beagle would tear it apart the way he has ruined other pillows and beds with foam inserts, this does not seem to have an offensive smell. This carrier was a life saver when I was moving with 2 very skittish cats. I had to take them on a ferry and a 6 hour car ride and this carrier was large enough to fit a small letterbox in there with them and I did not have to open the crate until we were safely in our new space. I gave this a three star even though I think it’s almost perfect. My only complaint is I wish they would’ve had the inside pillow removable so it was easy to wash.
