We absolutely love our new 48" range hood! It shipped and delivered so quickly. It was packaged extremely well. Once we opened it and removed from the packaging, we were pleasantly surprised because of the copper edges. We did not realize the hood had this. We were unable to tell looking at the pictures on Wayfair. This hood matches our oil rubbed bronze fixtures throughout kitchen so nicely. We repurposed very old slate roofing tiles for our wall behind our 1950's stove. When we installed the hood, we used 5 inch iron pipes to have the hood sit out from the wall. So far so good. The installation was tough as the template supplied for the alignment of the screw holes on the back didn't really work. We had to modify the holes on the back. It works great! For the price, it’s a great value. The fan works perfectly, and as other reviews have stated, it’s not loud on one or two, but it does get loud at three and up. I do wish the controls were a little more intuitive but one thing I love is that the same controls are on both sides of the vent (one set front left, one set back right), so it doesn’t matter which way it’s installed, and you can access buttons from the left or right. This thing took FOREVER to arrive, but we knew that would be the case. It delayed home construction - the pandemic and supply chain issues to blame. Wayfair was generally ok with communication, definitely friendly, they just didn't have much info. ANYWAY - the range is beautiful.
