We are tired of using ice trays to freeze ice this ice maker gets the job done. The size and ease of use is perfect, not taking up a lot of space. We are a household of two so we don't use a significant amount of ice. We are also conscious of our electricity bill and because this ice maker produces ice so quickly we can turn it on without waiting a long time for ice and simply turn it off when it's not needed. This is an Igloo brand so I trust it. It’s big enough to hold a quart of orange juice and a half gallon of milk if you put them on their sides. The only issue I have is the shelves on the door have the plastic guard that keeps items from falling off, and this juts into the space of the main section of the refrigerator, seriously cutting down on that space! You think you can set something inside and the plastic hits it and the door won’t close. Very frustrating. We used this tent for winter camping in March with a mix of light snow and rain, and overall it performed really well. The 300D Oxford material felt durable.We set it up with a wood-burning stove using the stove jack, and it worked great. I was initially concerned about how close the stove would be to the walls, but the spacing was actually very comfortable and safe.Inside, we were able to fit two twin air mattresses with a storage table in between, which worked perfectly as a side table. With the stove inside, I would say it realistically fits 2 people comfortably (or 1 queen/king mattress). Without the stove, you could likely fit an additional mattress.The awning is a standout feature — having a covered cooking area right outside the tent made a big difference, especially in wet conditions. Definitely worth getting the version with the awning.The only downside is that this “8-person” size does not have the top ventilation that the larger models (10- and 12-person) include. Because of that, we experienced noticeable condensation buildup along the walls. If your bedding touches the sides, it can get damp, so I recommend keeping mattresses slightly away from the walls and bringing a towel to wipe down moisture.One additional tip: if you’re using a wood stove, make sure your chimney pipe extends well above the tent height (ideally 9–10 ft). Mine was a bit shorter, and a few embers caused small, patchable holes in the roof.Overall, I’m very happy with this tent — it’s durable, functional, and worked great for cold-weather camping.
