Received the GE 65gallon water heater with flexcapacity today (240v model). I did the installation by myself however the GE water heater is heavy. Luckily i got some help from my friend to set the water heater heater in place. Dryer is large capacity which I love. It does take about 8-10 loads of drying before it heats to capacity when brand new. After this many loads, the dryer does heat properly so don’t be alarmed when you first use your dryer if it doesn’t get hot enough. Cons: it doesn’t have a light in the dryer so difficult to see as you are pulling out clothes. Also, the dryer vent screen is a newer design with two sides. Problem is the plastic square holes at the top hold lint even if it is not full. So as you pull multiple clothes out after a cycle, some may drag across the top plastic piece and now you have lint balls on your clothing. Fix these two problems and it will be a 5/5 dryer.. I love this tower! Moved laundry to the first floor from the basement in a 100yo home. They nicely fit into a closet and are quiet and very efficient. Only 2 tbs of detergent needed, if you use too much you’ll get a notification for the app. Oh that’s great too, the app also alerts you when the washer and dryer are done or if there are any problems. Make sure they are properly installed, the dryer needs to have drainage. The guy who installed mine hadn’t installed an electric heat pump dryer yet and didn’t realize which led to a build up of water in the washer pan and the clothes would be damp. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dryer does an amazing job and there are soooo many options to ensure your clothes get the right drying temp, etc. that they need. Connected to wi-fi - just haven't used that yet. Two small issues - (1) our lint sensor is crazy sensitive. Just had the ducts cleaned yet it constantly gives us a warning that our ducts are almost blocked. (2) the vent in the back started rusting within 3 months!!! Dryer vents can rust but not usually this fast. Trying to stay on top of that but it's a bit of a bummer for such an expensive item. They should fix this!. Acm71. NC. Tue Dec 10 2024
