I was in search of a free standing tub that had completely straight/square sides versus the many that are sold with curves and angles. I needed this to fit in a corner without leaving spaces between the tub and wall that would either trap water or dust. This was the the one squared tub that I found within my price range, with others being 2-3 times as much for some reason, so I bought it in the only version available at the time (glossy gray). It's here now, I've opened the box to take a look and it is really beautiful and substantial while also being a foot shorter in length than the alcove tub it's replacing (space that I was eager to gain in a small bathroom). I'm really excited to get it installed and will be putting in a fixed glass panel on the non-wall end and a pivoting glass panel door along the exposed side since it will get the most use as a shower. It swings into the bathtub and a lever lock creates a watertight door seal. Attached to the dock is our patented 360° swivel tray allows you keep items dry and nearby. The 5-Piece fast-fill faucet has 5 pieces: two temperature levers, a diverter lever, a mounted faucet and a pull out multi-functional hand shower. It has a fill rate of 18 GPM, based on plumbing conditions. While the tub fills, enjoy the comfort of the Heated Seat & Backrest. The Elite comes with Ella’s unique Dual Drain Technology consisting of 2- 2” gravity driven drains (4- 2” outlets, 2 overflows and 2 openers) for a fast drain. The Hydro Massage System includes: a hydro pump with an in-line water heater, ozone sterilization system, hydro massage intensity dial, and hydro jet. The Elite has 16 hydro jets: 10 upper fixed jets for your back, hips and thighs, and 6 lower jets for your feet and calves. The Air Jet Massage System includes an air pump with a 3-speed variable, air jets, and an auto-purge to maintain an air system free of any build ups. It has 16 jets to create a gentle massage: 8 upper, fixed flat jets for your back, hips and thighs, and 8 floor jets for a foot and leg massage.
