I really do love everything about this crate (so far). That is to say, I love the way it looks. I spent days looking at different furniture crates and had an aha moment when I found this one online. It was the perfect vibe for the aesthetic of my home. When it arrived I unpacked everything and inventoried all of the parts. Check. Then I read through the directions and it said it would take two people an hour to put it together. Uncheck. My dad and mom both came over to help. My dad is a carpenter and builder. It took us five hours and a lot of curse words to put it together. Was it worth it? At the time, no. But now that it's together, I'm glad we persevered. It really is a nice, sturdy piece. As for functionality? We'll see. I'm bringing an eight-week-old puppy home in a few weeks and imagine things will be pretty mild at first. The real test will be in a few months to see if the gates hold up. They aren't not sturdy, but they're also not affirmingly solid. This is a beautiful crate. Perfect size for my 15 pound dog. It's obviously so much nicer than a traditional metal crate. I was initially concerned that the lock would be too weak to keep the door closed, but it's great! It's a very secure lock. The crate door slides up and under the drawer, which saves on space. I loved this stroller! My dog loved this stroller! Her back went out on her and with her age (13) I needed to find an option to get her out. She absolutely loved getting out for rides. People would stop us and comment on how happy she looked. Today, the front wheel fell off on our walk. It looks like it wasn’t attached well because the break looks odd. I haven’t even had the stroller for a year. Not sure what can be done by you or if I need go to Pet Gear. I appreciate any help you can provide. I’ve attached pictures.
