The wood is strong enough for indoor but I don’t think it would last long outside in the elements. I didn’t use the roofing material that came with it since I have it inside the house. My 105 lb lab loves to sleep on it, and look out the window while sitting in it. I was worried it was going to be too small for him, but he loves it.
