Holiday Splendor Collection. Hand-painted Glass Ornaments Imagined for decades and finally became a reality in 2006! This collection has been inspired by Russian lacquered boxes from the world-famous village Fedoskino, where for almost 200 years, artists have been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pearl. Ornaments are created on handblown 1.5 mm thin glass, like in the old times. We spray silver powder inside the glass ball and then sandblast this ball from the outside. A combination of both poor customer service and inaccurate item description makes this product pretty useless. All I need is a simple fix (to pop one of the side panels off, which is only fasted with a small wooden dowel aside from the special locking pin) in order to go back a step.
