Holiday Splendor Collection. Hand-painted Glass Ornaments Imagined for decades and finally became a reality in 2006! This collection has been inspired by Russian lacquered boxes from the world-famous village Fedoskino, where for almost 200 years, artists have been painting beautiful miniature lacquered paper-mâché boxes inlaid with mother of pearl. After years of studying this technique, we established an innovative form of painting that were proud to bring to you our exclusive G. DeBrekht Glass ornaments. Ornaments are created on handblown 1.5 mm thin glass, like in the old times. We spray silver powder inside the glass ball and then sandblast this ball from the outside. We paint our miniatures with a combination of transparent & opaque paint with multi-layer painting techniques for a realistic, deep iridescent effect of the sun or moonlighting the landscape or beautiful scenery on our ornaments. All sides of the ornament are beautifully decorated, accented with touches of gold, finished with a lovely satin ribbon, then placed in a luxurious satin-lined box. Every ornament is an original work of art sure to be cherished by you as it becomes a family tradition…treasured by future generations.

The French titled Premiere reverie, this charming idyllic scene of an attractive woman in a dress resting with her water jug as angel Cupid hovers and whispers love in her ear in a beautiful garden rendered in soft colors and golden light. Considered one of Bouguereau most celebrated paintings, "…presents the eye with perfection…" French artist Bouguereau, was considered an Academic and traditionalist with modern interpretations of classical and mythological subjects. As a teacher, frescoesist and draftsman Bouguereau opened art to women and held coed classes. Each August, Sturgis and the Black Hills of South Dakota attract hundreds of thousands of motorcycle enthusiasts from all over the world. The first Sturgis Rally, known as the Black Hills Classic, was held in the summer of 1938 and included a race of nine participants on a dirt track. Today, it's South Dakota's largest tourism event and one of the world's largest motorcycle rallies. The week-long activities include Main Street action, concerts, races, road tours, and bike shows. Much of the history of the Sturgis Rally and races can be found at Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame.
