We had this system installed in our remodeled bathroom in September 2023. For the most part, it has worked beautifully and we've been ecstatic with it. However, it is not without issues. It has to be re-paired with Amazon Alexa every 3 months, unlike every other Alexa skill out there. Why? Who knows. Because Kohler says so, I guess. Lately it has been needing to be re-paired every 2 weeks (today was the 3rd time). Also today it said there's a firmware update, but when I go to update I get a message that the shower is offline and I need to check the wifi connection. How? There's no wifi settings on the shower setup or in the app, or in my Kohler account anywhere. There is an Advanced/Locked section of settings that requires a PIN on the in-shower control and I have no idea what the PIN is or how to find it; we didn't set it and we can't get into these settings. I want to create a gallery of them on my living room walls. I have copies of Roman busts, life-sized statues and statuettes from Pompeii and photos of Roman murals. The whole living room will be decorated classical. I enjoy ancient history, particularly Roman history. Many pieces Ive collected are not cheap and actually quite good copies. The Marcus Aurelius cut-out is high quality printing of the original bust, the next best thing than owning the original.
