The bases do not stay attached to the poles. I put the posts in my driveway before a snow storm to keep random drivers from turning around in my driveway. The next morning when I went to move the posts in order to plow, the poles pulled out of the bases, leaving the bases under 2 feet of snow. I dropped one pole and it shattered.
