This is my second attempt at buying/using an ice maker. The first time I never worked and that’s bc it was a very poorly ventilated mobile home in Florida and the heat was too much. Now, I’m in a ‘regular’ home and thought I’d give it another’s try with this model and low and behold, this thing cranks out the ice non-stop and you don’t need to stand their while it’s doing it but it helps bc you do want to put the ice in your freezer - I used a metal mixing bowl and filled it to the top in mere minutes. Nice appliance. I was amazed how quickly it began making ice. It filled the bin with in a few hours during our first use. I really like that the bin is removable. Makes it much easier to be able to dump the ice in a cooler, instead of a scoop at a time.
