I gave it 4 stars simply because the footboard had some stains. However, the bed is gorgeous timeless. Very happy with this bed. It’s great quality, especially for the price, and exactly what we needed for a smaller bedroom - it’s slick, modern, anything but clunky and absolutely beautiful. Does not waste space. We have a pretty big mattress and were cautiously optimistic about it fitting right (based on other reviews) but the bed took the standard mattress size perfectly! I ordered this in beige for my apartment and loved the way it came together. It did not take too long to put together, but I would recommend a drill instead of having to use the small tool it comes with.
