This bed was very easy to build. I built it by myself with maybe an hour a little bit more than an hour. The instructions will clear on how to use all the materials that they packed into the back of the headboard. The only thing that wasn’t clear was where to put the slats when you were adding that in but again you can use your best judgment of where to add in the screws. Very happy with this furniture. The side board of the frame was slightly bent but once we put the whole frame together it was really hard to see as the structure held it in place. I like that the slats have Velcro to secure them in place. The light on the back it’s a standalone light strip so you can easily upgrade it if you don’t like the color.
