This dryer is awesome. It seems like it takes longer than a normal dryer, but it really doesn't. We don't have to run it 3 times to dry towels. It can fit a lot of towels. It can dry our king size comforter with ease. It uses about 1/4 the power of our old normal dryer. It also is really good at removing pet hair from clothes. Arrived two days ago. I paid to have it dropped directly onto my concrete pad. Got electrical hooked up yesterday, filled it up last night, got in it this morning. The good stuff: It looks good, should be very reliable given how simple it is, and was a great price. The not-so-good stuff: They sent me the wrong color, the ozonator was broken upon arrival, the drain connection is tucked back under the tub and has no shutoff valve, the jets control is just one button but still manages to be confusing. But, at the end of the day, I just want some hot water, with jets, and not have it die every six months. So, I'm mostly a happy customer. Update: Just a heads-up, exactly where the cover lift arm attaches, there's a vertical strap in the way (see my photo). This dryer is super quiet. It works really fast too. It could dry a lot of clothes at once. I don’t do stackable on mine because they’re so big anyways and there’s a cabinet in the way, but like I said GE is building a manufacturing plant over here in Kentucky and bringing it from here from China so given a lot of jobs back to America so I said I’m gonna go with the GE for for what they’re doing.. We are SO happy with this tub! The seating arrangement is perfect, with no “lounger” to limit options. Setup was a breeze for our electrician- he was very pleased with the accessibility of the electrical components. The jets are amazing, the cover fits nice and snug, and everything works exactly as we had hoped. The tub arrived in perfect condition, the shippers were pleasant, and it arrived right on schedule. Overall, it’s been an absolutely perfect experience, and my only regret is being unable to give it six stars. Update Almost 2 12 years in, we still love this tub! The dryer is great. Im handy, so it was very easy to hook up. The delivery was a different story. We were given a delivery day of Tuesday, then it changed to Monday between 7 AM and 7 PM. My wife called at 930 Monday to narrow down the window, and was eventually told they didnt even have it at the delivery center. Then he checked and found it had just arrived, but it was too late to get it on a truck. Problem was, we took Monday off to receive it and hook it up. He said they could deliver Wednesday, between 7 AM and 11 AM, with a call 30 min. before delivery. They called at 6 AM, and delivered at 645 AM. But, we have the dryer, so all is good. The delivery crew from Glen Ellyn Moving and Storage were great, quick,efficient and polite. Nice hot tub. Takes a while to heat up and loses heat pretty quickly when you open the lid, but my kids love it. Unfortunately, we had to winterize it for the winter because my energy bill DOUBLED after we set it up. We live in Michigan so it uses a lot of energy during the colder climates. So if you're hot tub shopping just know that these plug and play ones seem really nice and cost effective, but they actually cost way more to run than a hard wired hot tub would. After spending a substantial amount of time reading reviews and product ratings for several 40 gallon gas water heaters, I selected this unit which was on sale for a competitive price. All my appliances are the GE brand and have been very reliable over time. Most big box brands only come with a 6-year tank warranty although upgradeable at an extra charge.
