They were easy to put together. The blue is a bright blue. It has a wood tone inlay because it looks real wood without the maintenance and care of real wood. It is very easy to wash up with a rag or a hose, messes are totally easy to clean. This type of material you can leave out all year long in the snow and the rain will not hurt the material. It is really small, looks a little ridiculous between our rockers. I didn't check the size close enough, by the photos, it looks like a nice sized side table. It's more of a plant stand size. The legs bow a little, the lower shelf is a bit larger than the top. The color matches our chairs well. I purchased it using some store credit, so it wasn't a lot out of pocket.
