Everything is made of real wood, and even my contractor was impressed with the quality. The counter arrives unattached to the cabinet, and the sinks also have to be mounted. I originally saw this vanity at Home Depot at a much higher price and decided to shop around. I found that Wayfair had the lowest price. My one complaint though was that it arrived without the countertop. Of course this was my fault for not reading into the description further. I assumed it was included because of how it was pictures and every other seller had included the top in the snow white finish. Lesson learned. These chairs are very sturdy and were easy to assemble. The finish does look more like plastic than like wood.
