Fossil Blu fireclay sinks are comprised of solid genuine crystalline-silica fireclay. When paired with a silica-based glaze and fired at 2200 degrees, the two silicas fuse together, creating a new quartz-like material. As opposed to inferior ceramic sinks, which are usually hollow core, fired at lower temperatures, and exhibit little fusing, ours is far superior and engineered to remove even the possibility of hairline cracks/crazing. The Pampas Grass and Greenery stems filled the 30" vase perfectly! This vase w/stems has been placed in the lobby of a highrise condo property on the north lakefront in Chicago.
