My first worry was will it arrive in one piece. The packaging of the sink was thick foam, fully cushioning it, protecting from bumps and knocks which occur in the normal delivery process. Fits perfectly in the space, no problems occurred in the install. Purchased an older home, gutted the kitchen, thought I’d save some money on an apron front, double sink. The double sink was lighter in weight constructed of thinner material. Had it for 2 years when it was damaged when a 3 qt cast iron Dutch oven pot bumped the bottom of the sink creating a hole. My handiman, said it should have chipped but not have caused a hole in it. The cost of the old one was roughly 250, you get what you pay for. The new sink has been cast from a heavier thicker material. First impression is ‘that sink is HUGE!’ It is 37” across, hard to find a drop in of this size. All stone and ceramic surfaces can be damaged by force or by sudden and/or rapid changes in temperature. Countertops are pre-sealed and polished for added protection during manufacturing. However, it’s not permanent. Re-sealing the top before use is required to ensure proper protection.

Came earlier than expected, well packaged, exactly what I needed. Update: after installing, found that the faucet I bought drops water way too short of the center of the sink - and this with a 6" reach. I'm now buying a different faucet. Just a warning that the hole is 3" from the edge of the sink so plan accordingly. Final update - never could find a faucet with a long enough spout to drop water in the center of the sink (those that shoot water splash too much).
