We would give 3.5 stars for set-up and 4 stars for look. The sides are plywood, be very careful when screwing sides together - slow and steady. We had one plywood piece separate and that's bad. Be careful with black screws - too long and one poked out of the side (good thing is was on a side that will be on the wall). Recommend using wood glue in addition to the screws, especially with the drawers. Be aware, not all screw holes were 'pre-drilled'. Also the screw holes on one of the drawers was in the wrong position - that was a mindbender! But figured it out finally. We felt that the front & back & the drawers were solid. The sides are plywood and not great quality. We really like the look and the color (once we got it put together). It definitely needs handles. I would rate this 3.5 stars if i could, but it is better than 3 stars so i gave it 4. While I am satisfied with this purchase, I bought it for my oldest son who is in college. It doesn’t get used all year and provides great off season storage space. If I had bought this for our master bedroom, the quality would disappoint. You can see in the pictures that there is space is the mitres and and gaps at the drawers. Here though I believe you get what you pay for. If this was a hand made work of art it would be 10x this amount. I do take exception to the wayfair description that this piece is solid wood. The back of the dresser is somewhere between cardboard and hard board. The styling is attractive and the finish is good. If you are going to use this for a younger child, I might recommend a glass top. I am not sure what would happen if a sweaty glass sat directly on the top for several hours. On the good side the dresser was packed beautifully. It was so tight that I basically had to cut the box at the corners and let the box fall away. While this may seem a bit odd, I recommend turning the box upside down (the top will still be protected by the box and the corners are easier to cut away. Overall, it is a good dresser. I had a custom vanity built 18 months ago and it didn't have a backsplash. It looked beautiful but I started getting water damage where the caulking was and my building manager told me I needed a backsplash. It's hard to match a custom vanity, and no one was willing to do a backsplash in the Cesarstone on my counter. I found this white backsplash...it's very simple, the right measurements, and it looks great. I was worried that it would take a really long time to find a solution, but this worked perfectly. Assembly is not too difficult if you can decode all the parts and compare them to the picture instructions. The drawers assemble with this dovetail locking pattern and no hardware so they easily fall apart if you don’t secure the parts together. I had looked in a few stores and online to find a backsplash for a bathroom vanity with a quartz countertop with veining. I finally found it on Wayfair and it matched perfectly, including the tone of white. It doesn't have a lot veining, but enough to make it look like it's part of the vanity. There should be a better picture on the Wayfair site because you can't see the veining well. I was worried that it wouldn't be a close match, so I was thrilled when I saw it on the vanity. This worked so well for me. I was looking for something I could do myself! I was able to get this and the side splash. One is a tiny bit too short and the other is a tiny bit too long but being able to just put them into place was wonderful. It really brought my bathroom together.
