This rug is very plush and thick. Because it is wool, it will shed for a bit, but that is customary for wool and will subside after a while. I bought two of the 7'9" x 10" rugs. Rich, vibrant colors and finely detailed. Extremely dense fiber construction. These rugs are polypropylene which is a superior material in my opinion.
