This padding makes the rug feel so great when you walk on it! It is 12 “ thick, but it makes a great difference! The one downside is that it is not slide resistant. So one needs to be careful. This engineered flooring is a neutral greige tone. The finish is smooth with no wood texture feel. The top and bottom plank are full length where the middle pieces are split which I thought was odd but maybe that’s how all boxes come The backside of the planks are a rustic finish that I kind of like (see last photo).
