So I’m going to have to build up one to sit even as the lock is a very secure and tight fit, I didn’t know a keyed window lock existed. Once I figure out how to build up the wood I’ll insert a finished product picture, the picture here shows defect of my frame. Also the key will not come out of lock in the open position. Gail. This is a steel mortise latch assembly, with a 45 degree keyway. It features a diecast keeper and mounting housing, pocket design for wood, vinyl or aluminum doors with a zinc-plated finish.
