Extremely durable it definitely has some weight to it which surprised me. When it was heavy, I knew it was going to be durable and thats exactly what it was. I love my mount it. I placed it behind my tv unit that I am building and I can connect my tv and have all the cables out of sight. My original plug was way out of the way. I would have given it 5 stars but my package came without the template and no instructions of measurements. So it took me a lot to f cutting to make it a perfect fit.
