This is the quietest range hood I have ever used with an unique design. The installation is straight forward for most with video tutorial online that's readily available. I went with a professional installation. This range hood is rated at 1100cfm and the unique design has worked very well. My home no longer smells even when I deep fry. I did two modifications for my installation. I went with a Zephyr 6"-8" duct increaser. The reason I did this is because the range hood is rated over 1000cfm. This might not be necessary but it's a choice I made for myself because of the rated CFM. My installation required a 4" spacer piece. I used 6" 10-32 fine thread screws to secure my upper cabinet to the range hood to make up the 4" spacer difference. This is not necessary according to Fotile but I went the extra mile for $13 more in screws, bolts, and washers. So far I am very satisfied with how quiet and powerful it is. I purchased the Shark FlexBreeze fan in 2024 with my own money, and it has exceeded my expectations. My husband had gone through three fans in 10 years, and shortly after I bought this fan (for myself), fan #3 quit working. He ended up taking over my FlexBreeze, and despite being skeptical at first because it was much smaller and a little bit quieter than his previous fans, he quickly became a huge fan of it (pun intended)! Do not let the size of this fan fool you, it provides excellent airflow and is surprisingly powerful. The stand offers more flexibility than the pedestal fans we grew up with, allowing you tilt the head in just the right direction. The heavy base also keeps it stable, which is important in our house with dogs running around. The standout feature for us is the built-in battery. We live in a rural area where power outages happen, and we are pretty dependent on having our fan on to sleep. The battery allows the fan to run on a low to medium setting, giving us enough airflow and white noise to comfortably fall asleep. It has seriously been a lifesaver for us. Another feature I really like is its versatility. The fan can be removed from its base and be used as a smaller portable fan, making it easy to pack for vacations and trips so you don’t have to sleep without your fan. Our model came with the CoolMist attachment and a car charger. This fan also features a remote. While we have not used the misting feature or car charger yet, I do appreciate those options. We also do not use the remote very often, but it is nice to have when needed. My husband works swing shift, so this fan gets a lot of use since we both sleep with it. The previous fans we purchased were much cheaper, so I wanted to see how well this held up before reviewing it. After almost 2 years of heavy use, it is still working great. At some point, we actually plan to purchase another one for our son, and I would also like one for myself again… or maybe convince my husband to give mine back! This review is on the delivery experience not the machine. The delivery team was polite, but the experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. It took roughly 1.5 hours to install a washer and pedestal because they were not familiar with how the pedestal installs. Despite clear issues during setup and their reluctance to take guidance, I ultimately had to determine the correct installation steps myself just to get the job finished. After they left, the washer repeatedly threw an error, which took additional time to troubleshoot only to discover that they had failed to turn the water supply valves on. This added to an already unnecessarily long and difficult process. To make matters worse, their driving on the property was reckless. They drove at an unsafe speed on the driveway and nearly caused a head-on collision with a vehicle exiting the property. While the individuals were courteous, the lack of technical competence, attention to detail, and basic safety made this a very poor and exhausting experience.. Ilaria. Washington, CT.
