The instructions to attach the armrests and the footrest were missing but it was easy to figure out by looking at the illustrations. Got this for my husbands sunroom office. The fabric is soft and smooth, although it’s a faux leather it feels like a microsuede. The black is a matte mid black/dark grey versus a dark black.
