Bought this several months ago. Although I sent the link with specs and installation instructions to the builder's subcontractor, he installed the grill on wood supports which is combustible. Of course, the builder blamed us for not buying via his subcontractor (which would have been much more expensive). After the subcontractor made a steel box with cement board to address the combustion issue, we discover he didn't allow room to pull the grease pans out. Really great grill set up. I added the side burner pizza oven, griddle, charcoal pan, cover separately. The grill itself puts out great heat, the side burner gives a nice sear. The drawers and side cabinet are nice, just wish the drawers opened a little more to fit the pizza oven in or the side cabinet shelves were positioned a little lower to fit the pizza oven on the top shelf. I have to store it separately because of that. If it rains, water does get into the drawers, so I definitely recommend a cover. The pizza oven for the side burner is pretty small, it does not fit a 12 inch pizza peel. Even using all six burners and the side burner pretty heavily, one gas tank lasts 4 to 6 weeks after about 10 to 12, 1 12 to 2 hour cooks, at least for me.. David. Delray Beach, FL. Thu Feb 12 2026

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having cooked on this new cooktop for 6 weeks, I can happily report that I am enjoying it more than I did my Dacor (on which I experienced a scary igniter failure). Some of expressed concern about the arrangement of the burners and their BTU levels, but that is magic in my view. There is so much customization available that it takes a bit of time to readjust what to cook where -- but that's part of the fun in my opinion. The "stops" that exist between levels of flame, as well as the numbers assigned to each, make it easy to remember what number flame to use next time for that purpose. The only worry I have is scratches because the installer caused one near that simmer burner while setting the cap on and of course now that is there forever, sadly. I had to wait for this model to return to inventory, but the wait was worth it. Highly recommend this Bosch Benchmark model for its beauty, sure, but also for its performance and ease of use!.
