Sturdy, solidly built table. A small design item needs to be adjusted. The holes for the bolts for the wheels have to has to be moved away from the sliding door rail about 3 or 4 millimeters. Right now the bolt from the wheel keeps the inside sliding door from closing or closing smoothly. It would also be nice to have the option of shelves on the left side of the storage cabinet. The finish is a lot glossier than expected as well. Do expect it to scratch with use, but came without any damage in the box. There are no feet either so need to attach some pads to the bottom to keep it from scratching the floor. Very nice. Sturdy. Not difficult to put together especially if you’ve assembled racks similar to this before. Hardest part in the mental part of calculating how far apart you want the shelves. I liked this one because of the wheels so I could tuck it into a corner. They also give you leveling legs too if you don’t want the wheels. One thing I didn’t realize until I read the instructions is they give you extra parts so you can either build one 6-shelf unit or two 3-shelf units which is a nice feature. Doesn’t seem that sturdy. All while I was putting it together it kind of rocked back and forth. I’m not planning on having to move it around that much though. Just want to keep it stationed in one spot. That being said, I’m not sure this island would make it in once piece during a move. Trying to imagine it in a moving truck and not sure it would make it to the destination unharmed. Someone mentioned 2 hours to put it together. It took me 4. Holes weren’t drilled all the way in some spots and had a really hard time forcing the screws through with a handheld Phillips head. Btw you need your own Phillips head. Or a drill maybe if you’re careful. But it looks nice and is the perfect size for extending our kitchen out a little further into the dining room of our small apartment.. Corinne. Lynnwood, WA.
