We are happy with our headboard. There was an issue with the first headboard we received, but the company was quick to reply and very easy to work with to arrange for a replacement. Unfortunately it took a little while to sort out, and it appears that the quality is somewhat inconsistent, which is why I'm only giving it 4 stars. However, I would not hesitate to buy from the same company again because of how easy it was to work with them and how willing they were to remedy the situation, plus I feel that the quality issues weren't unreasonable for the price point. We ended up with a headboard we're happy with. A couple of notes: 1) As others have said, the charcoal gray is definitely a dark brown rather than a gray, but that's what we wanted. 2) We ended up cutting about 4 inches off the legs after assembling it on the shortest setting and then mounting it on the wall instead of attaching to the bed frame. In this poster, graphic designer Adolph Triedler (1886-1981), encourages women to do war work.
