Really not bad at all considering the size of this thing. This is not heirloom furniture by any means, but it’s sturdy enough for what I need. The product arrives in two long, flat boxes. The packing was sufficient for the most part except for the triangular pieces that are part of the roof. They were dented and scratched, but I didn’t think it was worth my time and trouble to try to have them replaced, so I pounded out the dents with a rubber mallet. The flaws are visible, but not as bad as how they came. Each piece of metal is covered with plastic film that should be removed before assembly, which takes a lot of time and patience, but once removed the metal surfaces are very clean with a good coating. Assembly definitely requires two people and several hours since there are over 300 screws, but once assembled, the structure is very solid. I was impressed with the engineering. All of the screw holes lined up and the instructions/diagrams were easy to follow. I built a wooden deck with 2x6 treated joists and treated plywood for the floor and screwed the base to that. The Suncast 8x10 Shed is a nice addition to our property for our storage needs. I will admit the process of putting together the shed was not as easy as other reviews had suggested (however that is probably user error). Having a level base is extremely important as any uneven surface will cause the roofing and doors to not align as needed and will create some issues while putting it together. I was skeptical when we received this and put it together- There were a couple pieces missing. However, after a little back and forth, when we finally got to the correct company and customer service- They sent replacement parts at no charge. It has been almost 8 months and we have had some pretty severe thunderstorms with very high winds. This little shed is still standing- no leaks, and I am very impressed. Good shed for the price. Instructions are a little difficult to decifer but it is doable. Be very careful to make sure both sides are square while putting the roof panels together. Follow the predicted holes religiously they are the exact position of every piece. Not sure why there are four extra panels but I will double up the corners they seem kinda week.. Bruce. Caledon, ON. Husband and wife tag team to put together the armoire. The first one took 2 hours, the second one took 1.5 hours and the third one took 1 hour so in total 4.5 hrs. We had EDM music playing in the background so it kept us motivated throughout the process. The directions were very easy to follow.
