We just had it installed yesterday. Recommend that you get a print out of the specifications and the installation. From what I was able to read in Wayfare’s description section, we would be able to install the unit flush with the ceiling. And unfortunately, because I didn’t have printed specifications we had to drop down the unit a foot from the ceiling. Not the inconspicuous flush mount unit and I was hoping for. According to my contractor, this was a very complicated unit to install. To be fair this is a relatively new category of range top hoods that are being offered. Pleased with the noise level, but have yet to cook with it. Read reviews from other previous purchasers, and a common statement was how small the remote controller was. This beautiful Bluetooth ceiling fan with light from Everly Quinn is wonderful. It has a beautiful appearance and when in use gives the perfect amount of air flow to the room. I love the crystals and the bright led lights. The blades retract when the fan is not in use so it’s a beautiful crystal light fixture otherwise. It was not too difficult to install .
