They’re even comfortable without the cushion but, a little cold for your back if you’re wearing a camisol or a tank top (cuz it’s steel)! The table is nice, I just wish it were a bit longer & wider and that we would find the same pretty pattern design on the chairs on the top or base of the table… cuz it can look like I bought the table separately. :( PS - I assembled the chairs myself (took about an hour each) but I needed help for the table. Also, I assembled only 4 swivel chairs and bought a bistro set to have 2 same but normal chairs stacked one on top of the other (put in a corner) and add them to the table when more guests come!
