This shade was a great replacement for the old, yellow one that broke. It features a soft, bright matte white finish. Although it comes with a cap equipped with two holes for pull chains, only the center chain is functional because the opening is too narrow to use the fan chain—at least for my model of fan. However, it is not as vibrant as the pictures on the website show. The weave is not tight, so it has an abstract look. From farther away it looks great. These dimmable LED bulbs came in a box of 24 so they will last a long time because they have a very long lifespan of 15,000 hours. I can use these indoor or outside. and can be used in a damp area. They are very bright and that has to be taken into consideration if you need a lot of bulbs in one fixture. I needed eight bulbs and that was just too much light. I absolutely Love this smart looking ceiling fan! The light has two settings and the fan has four. When the fan is on high it is very quiet and is so effective I only need my air conditioning on very hot days.
